Company Description:

The company’s core activity is the specialization in the deep-sea bulk trade operating a modern fleet with up to date equipment ensuring maximum flexibility, timed delivery, fast and efficient cargo handling.

The Equinox Fleet consists of 9 modern Supramax bulk carriers ranging from 52,000 DWT to 58,700 DWT, built between 2002 and 2012. Eight of the 9 vessels were contracted as new buildings by the Company in Split Croatia and NACKS Shipyard in Nantong which is a 50/50 joint venture between Cosco and Kawasaki. The last vessel of a series of four Supramax 58,700 Dwt vessels was delivered on the 17^th of January 2012.

The company has been concentrating on Supramax vessels and is looking to increase its fleet size with further new building contracts of new eco designs and second hand tonnage.

Since August 2012, the company has taken under management a Handysize vessel (Mv Stadion II built 2012) and two Supramax Vessels (Mv Sun Vil II built 2013 and Mv Ton Hil II built 2014, both Mitsui 56k DWT). In March 2013, the company signed for a further two Supramax vessels of 61,200 DWT with Nacks Shipyard in China for delivery in 2015. In January 2014 an additional couple of 61,200 DWT vessels were signed, for delivery by Dacks Shipyard in China in 2016.
