Navigate PR has demonstrated strong year-on-year growth throughout its 10 year history. The company provides strategic communications advice at board level coupled with hands-on support at all levels throughout a client’s organisation.
Navigate PR is part of the Navigate Group which also delivers training courses, seminars, conferences and global crisis media response services.
The opportunity
To meet increased demand, we are seeking a full-time account executive to support various client accounts. This will be a busy job and the holder will be expected to juggle a number of tasks including copywriting, producing material for the media, administering training courses, client liaison and more. Initially, we will offer a 12 month contract which will become permanent if the job suits the candidate. Salary and responsibility will grow with the job and this is a great opportunity for someone to learn more about PR and the maritime sector.
The position is based in central London, salary circa £25-30K plus potential profit share from certain activities.
The ideal candidate will offer
- Excellent written English (absolutely essential)
- A working knowledge of the maritime industry (extremely helpful but not essential)
- A good understanding of PR and/or corporate communications
- A knowledge of the maritime media
- Confidence to work with clients at all levels
- Ability to work quickly, accurately and with limited supervision
- Good organisational abilities with a focus on detail
- Friendly and personable
