Mechanical Supervisor

Job Description:

Your job will include, but not limited to the following:

  • To Supervise & coordinate all preventive & corrective maintenance, installation, inspection, and repair works  for all mechanical systems & equipment including all infrastructure, pipelines, transfer pumps, measurement instruments, process facilities, various equipments and storage tanks.
  • Oversees and monitors specialised  electro-mechanical, carpentary, masonary, welding, and other infrastructure maintenance works related to pipelines and depots.
  • Utilizes the Computerised Maintenance Management system to prepare and generate PM work orders and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for all mechanical equipment in the depot and plant. Provides input for the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Plan.
  • Performs regular routine inspection and maintenance of the depot & all mechanical equipment such as product Pumps & pipelines, Storage tanks, Air compressors & generator equipment. Inspects in equipment for signs of corrosion, assists in implementing anti corrosive/protection techniques, maintains records and monitors condition continually.
  • Evaluates mechanical systems and equipments for any repair/maintenance works required. Schedules the preventive maintenance program in coordination with the Maintenance Planning. Schedules and assigns all mechanical repair and preventive maintenance work amongst mechanical staff.
  • Prepares Scope of work for 3rd party and inhouse jobs, inspects work done, prepares completion certificates, reviews & monitors spare part inventory and recommends additional parts to be stocked and advises on minimum, maximum stock etc.
  • Coordinates with end users and Supervises all repairs, replacement, modification, calibration, overhaul etc. carried out by tradesmen to ensure smooth progress of all scheduled repair and preventive maintenance works.
  • Controls and monitors 3rd party contractors in the execution of contracts and Price Agreements. Conducts inspections to ensure safety and quality of work is maintained to stringent Adnoc standards. Prepares report on annual Contractors evaluation.
About You:
  • Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5-6 years experience in Mechanical maintenance of Depot/Terminal related equipment in Oil & Gas field with at least 3 years in supevisory capacity.
  • Good working knowledge of Computers (MS Office/Maintenance Software).
  • Good Knowledge of English and Arabic.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
