Job Objective
Providing support to our vessels, our fleet teams and the HSEQ
Manager in all safety, security, and environmental aspects of the ship
operation. Together with your Marine Superintendent colleagues you
will be responsible for the ongoing developing of our QA system.
Key Accountabilities
To assist and advise Masters and crew in expediting marine activities
on board our fleet.
Keep vessels aware of safety, security and environmental
regulations changes as issued by international regulatory bodies
Ensure that the company's QMS procedures are maintained and
developed
Perform internal audits (ISM/ISPS/ISO14001) including report
preparation on board and in the office.
Follow up on non-conformities and corrective actions
Investigating accidents and recommending preventive measures.
Coordinate responses to Shipboard Safety Committee
Coordination of external audits, inspections etc.
Conduct onboard training programmes for navigation, cargo
handling, safety, security, environmental protection, QMS and
company procedures
Assist with post-fixture, insurance & claims activities.
Education & Qualifications
Master (FG) license
Seagoing experience either two Contracts as Master or 6 Months as
Master seafaring experience on Chemical Tanker IMO Type II
Work Experience
Either two Contracts as Master or 6 Months as Master seafaring
experience on Chemical Tanker IMO Type II
