Strategic VP SEQ for marine & nautical department
We are looking for a qualified, experienced and motivated Vice President to join our KGJ Fleet Management team, and to lead our SEQ Marine and Nautical department. The right Vice President has a strong professional understanding of all areas related to the position, and is a clear, unifying and robust manager with a high degree of personal integrity.
Management of the department
- Prepare annual plans for the department with objectives and targets in cooperation with Fleet Management
- Make sure the overall resources are efficiently utilized to meet the annual objectives and targets. This includes to plan and coordinate all ship visits and audits under the responsibility of the department
- Assure common standards in the fleet
- Establish effective reporting on results compared to annual targets and focus areas/KPI’s and cost related to the activity
The VP SEQ is also responsible for
- The management of the SEQ, DPA, CSO and Emergency response system
- To manage and coordinate vetting for our total fleet to assure all vessels are fully accepted in the market. This includes coordinating with chartering and operations to make sure necessary audits/pre-vettings are carried out. Also maintain and develop statistics on vetting performance
We are looking for a VP SEQ with
- Relevant experience from service in management positions on board
- Managerial experience on shore within fleet management, HSEQ and Vetting
- Proven leadership skills in a multicultural environment
- In depth understanding of customer vetting and clearance
- Experience from crisis management
