After 16 years of tanker chartering and sale & purchase experience, our director Mr Giuseppe Rosano rose to being a senior director at one of the world's largest ship brokerage firms. Despite recognizing all the benefits of working at such an established company, he found himself restricted. It became clear that working differently, smaller, would offer other advantages, like the latitude to truly focus on a client's needs with more flexibility and creativity.As a result, on January 4, 2007 ALIBRA SHIPPING LIMITED was founded. Using a less conventional, more individualised approach, ALIBRA's aim is always to maintain long-term relationships, built on information, trust and discretion.
ALIBRA now benefits from over 300 years of collective and varied experience. Our team includes not only brokers from renowned ship owning and ship brokerage companies, but also qualified master mariners, ship operators (of both owned and chartered vessels) and a former member of the Greek INTERTANKO board of directors.
