Assistant Crewing Manager


Job Description:

The Assistant Crewing Manager reports directly to the Crewing Manager, assisting with the administrative tasks needed to properly crew and maintain the entire fleet.



  • Assists as a point of contact for all crew members 24 hours/7 days per week.
  • Gathers all information from applicants to be submitted to the Crewing Manager for hiring consideration.
  • Keeps all crew member files updated, neat and organized.
  • Communicates clearly with employed crew members as needed.
  • Keeps the Payroll Department updated on new hires, resignations, etc.

 Skills, Education Requirements:

  • Degree from a maritime college/university, or equivalent maritime experience (3+) years.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of and experience with NS5 Nautical System preferred
  • Must possess strong organizational abilities and be very detailed oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, and work in a fast pace environment.
  • Ability to work overtime and on weekends, as needed.
  • Strong and professional oral and written communication skills.
  • Neat and professional in appearance.
