ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will be part of a vessel monitoring team involved in technical development projects as well as operational initiatives with a variation in complexity and size, all targeting a reduction of emissions to air and seawater from vessels.
The role will be reporting to the Fleet Performance Manager.
You will be responsible for:
Delivering vessel and fleet performance statistical and fact-based analyses with recommendations using in-house as well as external vessel performance monitoring systems.
Monitoring the Emission Compliance EU/UK MRV and IMO DCS SEEMP Part II; to follow the implementation of the reports and documents during the year and final verification with RO Verifier.
Energy Management analysis as per ISO 50001:2018 and TMSA Audit.
In this role, you will deliver a variety of tasks like:
Provide feedback and support to Vessel Managers in Vessel Performance-related matters with a high focus on Energy Efficiency Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Collate, analyse and develop a knowledge database of Vessels showing performance trends and work practices within and outside the organization.
Address areas of improvement and drive initiatives by providing advice to the technical and
marine superintendents.
Engage with industry leaders in vessel performance to secure and develop state-of-the-art tools and processes.
Collaborate with all stakeholders to optimize vessel performance dashboards in an efficient and structured format.
EXPERIENCE AND RELEVANT SKILLS
The ideal candidate has:
Minimum Degree in Engineering (Naval Architecture, Hydrodynamic or a related discipline).
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position with a proven track record of achievements.
Excellent relation and communication skills.
Proficient in IT skills and proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Office and Sharepoint
Highly motivated individual, flexible, proactive and able to work independently.
Strong ability to work in a team environment.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Excels in English written and verbal communication as well as delivering technical messages in compelling ways to internal/external stakeholders.
