Maritime Claim Administrator- (Experience in Handling P&I Claims, no sea experience required)
Analyzes, investigates, and evaluates loss to determine coverage and claim disposition
Maintains claims status valuations; liaises with financial reporting and manning offices
Researches, compiles, and submits to underwriters various types of crew claims in respect to P&I coverage policy; ensures claims are paid in full and on time
Works with regional crewing representatives in obtaining required documentation for reporting and case management purposes and provides guidance/advice in medical case handling and monitors follow-up with Fleet Personnel Manager, evaluates medical repatriation cases to determine internal management or P&I club notification

Guides Manning Offices, Port Agents and onbd management for Crew’s medical issues and eligibility for coverage as per CBA or company policies
Ensures compliance to internationally adopted and approved conventions and protocols
Identifies claim trends and communicate contributing factors to manager
Provides project management support as required
Provides management reports and trends for medical key performance indicators/areas
