IN THE ABSENCE OF THE ABOVE REPORTS TO: Director
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Supplies b) Machinery Performance c) Surveys d) Audits e) Vessel attendance
Maintain data related to expenditure pertaining to ship- related activities and project budgetary requirement to the Management and the Client.
Liaison closely with equipment manufacturers, Shipyard, Classification Societies, Port State Authorities.
Assess shipboard personnel’s competency in their respective area of work and report to the Management and Client.
Responsible for pre- joining screening of the senior ranks.
Is an essential part of the Management Review Team to conform to the quality and environmental management system.
Responsible as Superintendent for New Buildings and for scrapping of old vessels.
As a member of the Emergency Response Team assumes responsibilities as laid down in the ON-SITE EMERGENCY PLAN
